We spent 3D2N on Jeju recently. The island was simply amazing. Our wonderful experience was made even better by our guide, Mr Lee Tae-young. He was a funny fellow who showed so much passion for his job as a tour guide. He took us around for one-and-a-half days, showed us the places we listed down, and even made recommendations so that we would not miss the really amazing places, and would skip the not-so-worthwhile.

Language was only a small barrier as we could use the translation app "Genie Talk". The food he recommended to us were superb local cuisines, which totally revamped our pre-conceived ideas about Korean food.

Over the days we spent with him, we got to know his background, and the background of the islanders in general.

As we parted company at Jeju Airport, he did not even charge us for the 5 hours of overtime taking us around. On top of that, his wife made lovely hair-clips for our daughters, and he bought a whole bag of chocolates and cookies for us to bring back to our children in Malaysia.



We would recommend Mr Lee Tae-young to friends and family who wish to visit Jeju Island.
