Jungmun Attractions : Cheonjeyeon Waterfall
Introduction
Legend states that this waterfall was named after seven nymphs who assisted Heaven's Emperor who descended at night to bathe and play in the water. Flanked by dense trees, the three waterfalls provide a magnificent sight to enjoy. The first waterfall cascades from a 22-meter cliff into a 21-meter deep pond. The water continues over two more waterfalls until it reaches the ocean. A small pavillion called Chonjelu is located above the pond and an arch-like bridge called Sonimkyo (which has seven nymphs sculpted on it) stretches across the valley. The waterfall is considered the best tourist site in the Jungmun Tourist Resort Complex.Operating Hours
